Elizabeth Class of 2020 | Spokane Senior Photographer

This sweet soul is special to me for a multitude of reasons and not just because she happens to be family. She’s more grown up than most adults that I know and has a strong sense of who she is which enables her to treat everyone she meets with a sincere kindness. She’s sure to do some pretty wonderful things with her life and I’m honored that I’ll be there to witness them.

My garden was bursting with summer bounty when we did these photos, I included a flower installment and a bouquet for her session. This swing set up is one I’ve been wanting to do for a while now. And thanks to my hubby for sawing off the branches that were in my way and my brother for climbing the tree to hang the swing, I finally got to do it.

This bouquet was totally out of the norm for me and my monochromatic-loving-self. It was fun to push myself away from my comfort zone though and I knew this bold printed skirt called for a bold bouquet. It’s full of all kinds of goodies including sweet peas, poppies, nicotiana, zinnias, astilbe, snapdragons and some bright green apples for a little whimsy.

We met at her grandparents (my uncles) farm so she could include her lovely white mare, Rizzo, in her portraits. She’s not always the most cooperative model, but we forgive her because she’s pretty cute.
