"Flowers always make people better, happier and more helpful; they are sunshine, food and medicine to the soul”

/  Luther Burbank  /

Working hand in hand with mother nature, I start my mission of bringing beauty to the world here, in this garden. This little flower patch of mine is currently situated in the suburbs in North Spokane but one day I dream of some room to stretch my legs as we continue our hunt for acreage up north. In the meantime, I have used as much square footage of our yard for flowers as I could reasonably do. I use natural fertilizer and pest control methods with all of my plantings so you can be assured that they are safe to bury your face in and take a good, long, breath.  I have babies and animals that will undoubtedly play in the dirt and touch all the plants, so I wanted our home environment chemical free. My garden is not open to the public for general wandering or u-pick, but you can get a good view of it if you swing by to grab a bouquet from my flower stand out front In the shady area in my yard, I plant bleeding hearts, astilbe, hellebores and foxgloves and my sunny patches get filled with zinnias, sunflowers, cosmos, black eyed Susans, dahlias and many, many others.
