My photography journey has evolved a lot over the last decade and it has finally settled in on what speaks most to my heart. People have always been my most fulfilling subject to photograph and I discovered that I have a gift for working one on one with women. There is something truly gratifying about placing a woman, young or old, in front of my camera and helping her work through her insecurities until she reaches that freeing moment. That moment of vulnerability where she stops wondering what she looks like and embraces letting her spirit shine through. What she feels like in that moment is so much more important to me. And I’ve discovered that flowers are a key to reaching that moment. 

I photograph seniors, maternity, bridals and the “just because” sessions. I also work with a lot clients wanting to celebrate milestones with a special session such as prom, first birthdays, baptisms, sweet sixteen, graduations, etc. Anytime you find yourself wanting to commemorate a moment in your life, do it with a flower-filled photoshoot. 

Every photoshoot begins long before the day of the actual picture taking. I work with each client to get a sense of what she envisions, what the setting might be, what her wardrobe will look like and so on. I then take that information and decide what florals would pair best with her vision based on what’s looking best in my garden and I start scouting my favorite locations to see what is in it’s prime at that time. 

The actual photoshoot will typically take place in the evening, about 2 hours before sunset but I can also schedule shoots in the morning before the light gets too harsh. You’ll probably be surprised how much time you spend simply visiting with me and how many times I click the shutter while your mouth is moving but, trust me, the most natural smiles come in those in-between moments where you forget that you’re being photographed and are simply living in the moment. My goal is for you to go home from your session feeling like you just spent an evening out with a friend.

A fifteen minute mini-session that includes 10-12 images. On location shoot must take place in the Deer Park to Loon lake areas. All images delivered digitally via google photos album. Floral accessories or handhelds available upon request for not extra charge.

A thirty minute session that includes 25-30 images. On location shoot is available from North Spokane to Chewelah. All images delivered digitally via google photos album. Floral accessories or handhelds available upon request for not extra charge.

A one hour session that includes 55-60 images. On location shoot can take place anywhere in the greater Spokane area. All images delivered digitally via google photos album. Floral accessories or handhelds available upon request for not extra charge.
